Scenes from Iran

This is a wonderful photo collection from Boston.com regarding what is going on in Iran as we speak. The news from Tehran is at times better, at times worse, but I don't recall such a massive, intra-State protest over State political corruption (ie vote fraud, fixed election, etc) since Tienamen. The pictures are chilling, infuriating, and yes, hopeful - when we talk about abstract concepts like "the last best chance" what is happening in Iran right now is evidence of that.

The Dear Leader, of course, is silent on the subject. I'd like to be a cock-eyed optimist about this, but the pragmatist in me says this isn't going to end happily.
